how to swith workspace in ubuntu

The shortcuts

• switching workspaces (Ctrl+Alt+Arrow Key)
  
• moving window to a workspace (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+Arrow Key)

Reset Keyboard shortcuts to default if you have any problems.

(System>Preferences>Keyboard and clicked "Reset to Defaults" under the Layouts tab )
